Q: What’s the water depth in beginner classes?

A: Beginner classes are always in the shallow end (3.5 ft). Kids can stand comfortably and instructors are always in the water with them for every level.

Q: Will my child ever be in the deep end?

A: Only in higher levels when they’re ready. It’s always supervised, and deep water is introduced gradually. Your children will NEVER be forced to enter the deep end if uncomfortable, however, will be encouraged.

Q: Can I watch the lessons?

A: Yes! Parents are welcome to watch from the pool deck. Parents who are NOT enrolled in Parent and Tot must NOT enter the water or come near the pool.

Q: What if my child is scared of the water?

A: Totally normal. Our instructors are trained to ease fears through games, gentle exposure, and positive reinforcement.

Q: Is the pool clean and safe?

A: 100%. The facility is professionally maintained, treated, and monitored regularly. Cleanliness and safety are our top priorities.

Q: Do you offer make-up classes?

A: We try to accommodate one make-up per session when possible. Space is limited, so it’s not guaranteed—but we do our best!

Q: What’s the instructor-to-swimmer ratio?

A: Very small. Group classes are max 5:1. Semi-private is 2:1, and private is 1:1.

Q: Are there change rooms and showers?

A: Yes! We have clean, gendered change rooms with showers and washrooms available for use before and after class.

Q: What should my child bring to class?

A: Swimsuit, towel, goggles (optional but helpful), and a water bottle. Swim diapers are required for tots who aren’t toilet trained.

Q: Can I request a specific instructor?

A: We’ll try to honor instructor requests based on availability. Let us know at registration.

Q: What if my child needs extra support or accommodations?

A: We’re here for it. Let us know in advance and we’ll work with you to make sure your child is supported and feels safe.

Q: What ages do you teach?

A: Everyone—from 6-month-olds to adults. We have baby levels, kids’ levels 1–10, and a dedicated adult swim program.

Q: Do you offer trial lessons?

A: Not at the moment, but you’re welcome to register for a short session or switch to private if your swimmer needs a gentler start.

Q: What if I’m late or miss a class?

A: We get it—life happens. Let us know ASAP and we’ll do our best to help, but makeups are not guaranteed unless pre-arranged.

Q: Do you offer summer or intensive programs?

A: Yes! We offer seasonal options like summer intensives, PA Day camps, and more. Stay tuned for announcements!
